Its origins date back to 2002, when it operated under the name Five Star Electronics on Van Nuys Blvd. In 2010 it opened a new location on 14520 Ventura Blvd and was re-registered as Repair Stop LLC. In 2017, the company shifted from a joint ownership to a single member LLC under sole proprietor Vassil Jotev. Under this new management, Repair Stop started selling accessories, offering free diagnostics as well as a one year warranty on labor. The company employs professional technicians with over 15 years of electronic repair experience who offer the most cost-effective and sustainable repair solutions (with a common practice to discourage a repair if it costs more than the device itself). Since 2018, the company became a Square Trade authorized service provider and it is a part of their national repair network.
